WHY SHOULD I GIVE BEYOND TUITION?

Tuition and concert ticket revenues cover the basics of our budget (64% of our operating costs). But iSing's mission goes beyond that of a typical after-school choral program. We seek to encourage girls to develop their potential as leaders, creators, and performers through music. In addition to regular rehearsals with our outstanding choral directors, iSing singers learn from world-class singers and songwriters, interpret brand new choral music written exclusively for them, perform in some of the best acoustic venues in Silicon Valley, and travel both domestically and internationally to concertize — and to compete with, and build musical and cultural bridges — with choruses from all around the world. The remaining costs of these amazing opportunities are met through company sponsorships, grants, awards, and — especially — individual gifts to iGive.

WHY DOESN’T ISING RAISE TUITION TO FUND THE GAP?

Keeping the tuition affordable for the majority of our families is critical to iSing’s goals of inclusivity and sustainability.

HOW MUCH DO WE NEED TO RAISE?

iSing needs to raise $90,000 through our iGive campaign during the 2018–19 season.

WHY SHOULD I CONSIDER SPONSORSHIP-LEVEL GIVING?

As a season sponsor at iSing Change Makers level and above, you become a champion of girls' artistry and leadership. In appreciation, iSing has curated a unique set of benefits for sponsor-level donors. Please see the Donate to iGive page for more information.

HOW DO I REQUEST A MATCHING GIFT OR EMPLOYEE-DIRECTED GIFT THROUGH MY COMPANY?

Many companies in Silicon Valley offer matching gifts for charitable donations made by their employees. iSing is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and is therefore is eligible for these corporate matching programs. Arranging a matching gift from your employer is a wonderful way to double your impact. Please check the "Corporate Match" box on your donation form and we will work with you to provide your company with all necessary documentation. Your company may also offer employee-directed gifts or may reward volunteer hours you spend with us with a matching gift. iSing is eligible to benefit from these programs as well.

Note: As matching gifts and employee-directed gifts come from a third party, they are not credited toward the employee’s iGive sponsorship level.
