Meet Marsha

As a founding member and business manager of the internationally renowned women’s a cappella vocal quartet, Anonymous 4, Marsha has had firsthand experience with the power of girls bringing change through song. With the other “A4 girls,” Marsha traveled to 49 of the 50 states in America and to several dozen other countries — and made more than 20 Classical Billboard chart-topping, award-winning albums of medieval chant and polyphony, contemporary music, and American music for the harmonia mundi usa label. A4 commissioned new works from composers David Lang, Sir John Tavener, Steve Reich, and Richard Einhorn, and collaborated with a variety of other artists, among them a harpist, medieval string band, a modern string quartet, three newgrass innovators, an old-time music master, and an indie rock star. Now that A4 has disbanded, Marsha feels honored to continue to champion musical girl group power through her offstage role at iSing.
